Carlton Cinema/Theatre, Liverpool

Visited with OneByOne, Yuck, Sui, RT & AT.

The Carlton Theatre is located in the Tuebrook district of Liverpool. It is located on a prominent corner site at Green Lane and West Derby Road.

I have a few photos somewhere that need digging up...

The Royal Insurance Building, Liverpool

Found this place with OneByOne and YUCK and its spot on. Most of the inside is bare and stripped but the ground floor level and other floors have good finds but the rooftop and tower are the best.

The Royal Insurance Building, Dale Street was built during a six year period from 1897 to 1903 by Architect J Francis Doyle and is a Grade 2 listed building. Proposals to turn the building into a hotel were put forward but is un-sold, the property has planning permission for a hotel...

Just as we were about to leave this place we had a wander around the basement. As myself and OneByOne turned to leave we could see a silhouette stood at the exit and we stopped dead in our tracks, Told the others to crouch down. We spent 10 f*cking minutes sat in the pitch black until we decided to just go for it and leave. To this day we got shit up by a drunk...

Garnett's Cabinet Works, Warrington

Visited this place a few times with OneByOne, Rookie, Appo_91, YUCK and Sui with a variety of entrances...

It is built on three levels with two WW2 bunkers running the length of the building underground. The water tower is a good climb but the wood inside has rotted away and the ladders arent attached to much. Not much inside and has been destroyed by 'Wolf Pack'Graffiti.

Cheers for Looking, Gone...

River Street Apartments, Manchester

Visited with Appo and OneByOne..

All I remember from this trip is falling asleep in the back of OneByOne's car and waking up to him and Appo screaming at cones on the M62.

The rest are OneByOne's HDR's...

Boughton Lead Shot Tower

This is a Grade 2 listed tower and stands at 168ft.
It looks pretty safe from the outside but the original Ladders/Staircase is unaccessable and the current ladders are covered in bird sh*t and have the handrails missing ha. These are probably the 3 of the 10 pictures taken by 10 of us for holding onto stuff instead of your camera, Shame we couldnt have got onto the roof...

Thelwall Viaduct

Thelwall Viaduct carries the M6 motorway over the Manchester Ship Canal and the River Mersey. It is between Junction 20 & 21 of the M6. Thelwall Viaduct is actually two seperate bridges with the Old Viaduct which is Northbound for the M6 which opened in 1963 and the Southbound bridge for the M6 which opened in 1995. Both viaducts are 1.35km long.

I dont think you release until your up close how big these are, We visited the newer viaduct first and the older second. The insides of the viaduct are very repetitivebut watching Appo nearly knocking himself out is quite amusing...

Latchford Viaduct, Warrington

We saw this place on route to Thelwall so thought it best to stop and have a look.

This was built in 1893 to carry the Stockport to Warrington LNWR line over the Manchester ship canal.

I will never forget how scared a schoolboy was when we came down from the viaduct, Followed him to the spar where we had parked...

Tate & Lyle Sugar Silo, Liverpool

Was a massive crew of us when we did this the first time and the weather was sweet, We went back in the winter and it was far too cold...
